We are a congregation steeped in the historical tradition of many Lutheran churches. Our ancestors were immigrants seeking a new life in a new world. Our church building rests on the homeland of the Wahpeton peoples. Together as a faith community we seek to strengthen the faith of one another.  Our mission: As God's people, we are nurtured by Word and Sacrament to welcome, empower, and serve others.

The congregation is also located in a changing community. More newcomers are arriving with the same hopes and dreams as those who came before us. It is our desire to expand our mission as a welcoming congregation, in keeping with the signs on our doors which state "All Are Welcome."
